Restoration Foursquare Church in Madison has a night of prayer and worship planned for Sunday night to benefit Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Huntsville.

Restoration is hosting the event to raise funds for the church, which was struck by tragedy Thursday when a bus full of its members crashed near Atlanta, killing 17-year-old Sarah Harmening and injuring a number of other passengers.

The bus was en route to Atlanta when it collided with another vehicle on Thursday. The passengers were church members who were headed to a mission trip in Botswana.

“When a part of the body hurts the rest of the body feels it. We are all part of the same body so let us come together and support each other,” Restoration Foursquare wrote in a statement.

The Sunday night benefit will take place at Restoration Foursquare Church from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and local pastors will also be in attendance.

“This is open to any and all affected by the bus tragedy of Thursday in Atlanta or those that would like to come pray and support each other during this time,” the church’s statement read.
