On the heels of receiving a Tony Award nomination, Gospel star Yolanda Adams will be honored by the National Museum of African American Music on May 31st during its fifth annual Celebration of Legends.
Held at Nashville’s War Memorial Auditorium, Adams will be present at the ceremony to accept the museum’s Rhapsody & Rhythm Award. She joins fellow nominees Charlie Wilson, Nile Rodgers, Keb’ Mo’ and Monami Entertainment CEO, Mona Scott-Young. According to Billboard, “The Celebration of Legends benefits NMAAM’s various educational and community programs, including its Emerging Artist Series.
