A popular author and End Times scholar has returned from Saudi Arabia, where he says that country’s controversial crown prince continues to deny he ordered the killing of a Saudi-born journalist.
“The Kremlin Conspiracy” author Joel Rosenberg told Fox News he led a delegation of evangelical leaders to Saudi Arabia, where he sat down with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
“[Salman] called it a terrible tragedy and crime, and he said that we’ve arrested people,” Rosenburg said of the Oct. 2 killing of Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.
Surveillance cameras showed Khashoggi entering the property to obtain marriage papers but never exiting, and more video footage produced by Turkey showed a Saudi operative wearing his clothes on public sidewalks around the city.
The footage immediately put the Saudis on the defensive, and initial claims of innocence evolved into claims of a fist fight gone wrong. But there is evidence that the journalist was tortured to death for opposing bin Salman.
