The Dallas Cowboys have yet to agree to terms on a new contract with quarterback Dak Prescott. It’s unclear if it’s going to happen.

Prescott is coming off the final year of his rookie deal. He’s been Dallas’ starting quarterback since his rookie season, when he took over for an injured Tony Romo. Prescott has been vastly underpaid relative to his impact on the field.

The former Mississippi State star is due for a massive raise. Reports suggest Prescott is rightfully asking for $35 million-plus a season.

The Cowboys could just place the Franchise Tag on Prescott, though. They could then re-evaluate the contract situation in 2021.
