“Dan Wooding Reports From Heaven” is the type of headline Dan would have liked. However, on this one-year anniversary since his passing, it appears we must wait a little longer to get that report.
Ten years after gaining independence, South Sudan cannot shake its chronic violence. Last month, the United Nations published a report describing ongoing atrocities, stating “vast swathes of South Sudan have witnessed a massive escalation in violence perpetrated by organized tribal militias exceeding the violent conflict of December 2013.”
The COVID-19 pandemic has put pressure on small businesses globally, including in Pakistan. Without any safety nets, many businesses have closed down. However, several groups are coming together to help re-establish Christian small businesses through grants, as well as promote entrepreneurial efforts in the Church.
