An infant was killed over the weekend after at least one dog mauled her in a Los Angeles home when her grandmother stepped away to get a bottle.
Los Angeles police said the mauling happened Saturday afternoon around 3.25pm in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood.
The three-month-old baby girl died at a hospital.
‘It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we share with you the passing of the baby. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends,’ LAPD Capt. Lillian Carranza with the Van Nuys Area tweeted.
